Frame Off

Romans 12:2 WEB

"Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."

Reflection

Every restoration starts with a choice. Cosmetic work covers what's visible, fresh paint, new upholstery, and it looks finished. But the frame underneath never gets touched. Frame-off is different. Everything comes apart, inspected down to the parts nobody will compliment at a car show. It's slower, and for a while it looks worse than when you started. Faith works the same way. It's tempting to clean up what others can see, while the resentment and old wounds underneath never get touched. Paul doesn't call us to a paint job. He calls us to be transformed (the Greek word here, metamorphoo, is where we get "metamorphosis") — remade from the frame up. Even guys who tackle it solo still lean on somebody else along the way — a machinist, a buddy with the right tool. Nobody gets there alone. A restored frame doesn't stay restored on its own. It's a lifetime of bringing yourself back to the One who knows what you're meant to become.

Father, give us the courage to let You do more than touch up the paint.

Nuts & Bolts

The mission and beliefs behind this ministry

Why Christ, Cars & Coffee?

Some of the best conversations about faith happen leaning on a fender with a cup of coffee in hand. This is a place for people who love classic cars, hot rods, and muscle cars to grow in their faith together — through a daily word, real meetups, and a community that gets both the gospel and gear ratios.

🔒 A note on trust

We don't sell your data. And CCC isn't meant to replace your local church — we hope you already belong to one, or that you'll find one. This site isn't about likes or follows. It's about hope in Christ's promise of salvation (John 3:16), shared together on the same journey.

Our Foundation

"They continued steadfastly in the apostles' teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and prayer."

Acts 2:42 · WEB

Christ Cars and Coffee is a ministry intended to share the gospel through fellowship, building and strengthening Christian faith, and fostering relationships within the car culture.

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God — the owner's manual for life, the roadmap for a faithful journey. Everything on this page, from the daily word to the fellowship in the driveway, points back to that core belief.

This Week's Question

"Who influenced your faith journey the most — and did cars ever come up in that relationship?"

Placeholder Name

My grandfather taught me to change my first oil filter and my first Bible verse in the same summer. Never seemed like two different things to him.

Placeholder Name

Cars never came up directly — but the patience my dad had rebuilding an engine is the same patience I saw him have with people. That stuck with me more than any sermon.

"Noah knew the forecast. Everyone else didn't."

The Story

God told Noah to build a massive boat and bring two of every animal aboard before a great flood covered the earth — because Noah was the one person who actually listened and got ready, while everyone around him ignored the warning.

The Car

A lifted 4x4 pickup, built for exactly this kind of terrain — deep water, mud, no clear road left. Make and model don't matter here either; what mattered was that it was ready before the flood arrived, not after.

Are you ready for the storms in life? What — or Who — lifts you above your circumstances?
